Some women have saggy breasts or have nipples down. This may be due to aging or the result of another condition, such as breastfeeding.

When your breasts start to sag, their appearance can be disturbing. However, if your breasts are sagging and you want to find a solution, breast lift surgery may be exactly what you are looking for.

But maybe you are not sure if you have a saggy breast problem. You can find out with a simple test that you can do on your own at home. All you have to do is put a pencil under your breasts. If the pen does not fall to the ground and stays under your breast, you should consider having breast lift surgery.

Breast Lift  Procedure

If your breasts are sagging, you may want to consult us about breast aesthetic procedures and learn more about our services. If our experts recommend mastopexy, they will provide you with a detailed plan. As a result, you’ll have a full knowledge of your surgery.

Before consulting your surgeon, you should decide what you want to achieve with this procedure. This will make it easier for you to communicate your expectations to the surgeon. It will also allow the surgeon to understand exactly what you want and explain the various options available to you. Another way to express yourself better is to show pictures of the breast shapes you would like to have.

Our speacialists will recommend the procedure that meets the goal of the most natural and beautiful breast lift result with the least incision required to achieve this. Breast lift techniques are as follows:

> Circumareolar Mastopexy – “Doughnut” breast lift that has an incision around areola only

> Circumvertical Mastopexy – “short scar” breast lift, with an incision around areola and a vertical line

> Wise-Pattern Mastopexy – “Inverted-T” breast lift, with an incision around the areola, a vertical line to the inframammary crease, and a horizontal line

> Augmentation Mastopexy – any breast lift performed in conjunction with breast augmentation with breast implants

Recovery

After your breast lift procedure at Este Pro Clinic, you will be taken care of by our expert healthcare team at the hospital. You will be discharged with a caregiver, friend or relative when you are fully awake and relaxed.

We recommend taking a week off from work or strenuous activities, although in some cases it is possible to return to light duties after as little as four to five days. Since the stitches are placed under the skin and may melt, there will be no need to take stitches. Closed suction drainage tubes are used most often and are removed 1-3 days after the procedure. After the special medical bra provided by our office is attached, a sports bra is worn for about two weeks. Regular bra and swimsuit tops can be worn after three to four weeks. The final shape of the breasts is approximately 12 weeks after the breast lift.
